Through the Kay Llnagaay Heritage Centre we celebrate the living culture of the Haida people. My husband & I recently vacationed on Haida Gwaii, Graham Island. Whlst there we toured the Haida Heritage Museum. We were so impressed. A beautiful building, beautiful site, interesting contents and world class displays of everything Haida Gwaii. Culture, history, natural History and much more. We can highly recommend making this attraction a Must See when travelling to Haida Gwaii

A traveller to Haida Gwaii would be remiss in not visiting this outstanding cultural centre. We took the totem pole tour and it was extremely informative. Understand we should have stayed for the weaving demonstrations. The treasures in the museum are so artfully arranged, giving the visitor a real feel for the island. Would have liked to return but time was pressing.

This Museum is a wonderful example of Haida pride. The staff were more than willing to help explain things, the artifacts and art on display were stunning, and the building itself is magnificent. Don't miss it.

Within the Haida Heritage centre is a wonderful museum of human and natural history of the Haida going back thousands of years. New exhibits in a class A Museum are well worth the trip, as is the gift shop and the Bistro for local, imaginatively prepared lunches and good fair trade coffee overlooking the waters and totem poles. (open year round when I was there)

A modern class A facility, easily accessible within which are compelling exhibits and narratives of the Haida culture. Located within the Haida Heritage Centre that also has a great bistro, and Gift Shop of locally made and designed items, one could easily spend half a day there.
