After an early flight from BCN, my wife and I ate here during our 5-hour layover before catching a connector home. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the main shopping area of the Amsterdam IAP Schiphol.
The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and being the Netherlands, of course multilingual. Service was good.
The atmosphere was that of a dark, smokey, Dutch tavern. The "outside" seating is located in the ped areas outside of the main tavern. The non-smoking area is "outside".
My wife decided to try a standard chicken sandwich, while I tried the ham croquettes with frites. The two large croquettes were okay. The filling was rich and creamy/cheesy; the frites were good especially with frites sauce (i.e., mayo for Americans).
Nice place to grab a bite while waiting for a flight.
