We stayed in the premier inns before as a family before so knew what to expect , however a bit surprised my daughters bed was just a matress on the floor. Normally expect a sofa bed? Anyway not a big issue although she said she was cold in the night as bed was under window and we opened it to get fresh air in the room. The attached inn for food it best avoided we had to go their for breakfast which was

Stayed at hotel while daughter played in a golf competition at nearby Glenbervie Golf Club (she stayed with the team at another location)
The hotel is in a very convenient location, near to motorways but without major traffic noise. It is five minutes drive from the Larbert town centre with its shops and supermarkets and there is a garden centre with restaurant a few minutes walk round behind the hotel. Next door is a pub/restaurant with a good variety of meals and free fast wifi as a bonus. Most of the meals on the menu were 'two for one' making them excellent value for a couple, and, unlike a previous reviewer, we found them of excellent quality and quantity. So much so, that we returned on two further occasions. We did not have breakfast there, preferring to make our own cereal and fruit meal in our room. As to the hotel, it was clean and tidy with very friendly staff. Our room, 105, did not suffer from much traffic noise even with our window open all night and I can't remember any noise from neighbours. My only complaint is that the room was always a bit warm, but I can't really complain as the weather was great. I would certainly stay here again if I returned to the area.

Hotel up to the usual Premier Inn standard apart from noise of footsteps from room above, unfortunately made the mistake of eating at the pub next door. Food was absolutely awful. The first night we ate there thought they were having an off night, the second it was even worse, third night ate elsewhere. Staff had no idea of how food should be cooked or served, not overcooked and slow is a good place to start.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor to avoid noise of footsteps from above

We very much enjoyed our stay at Falkirk Larbert and the room was very clean, comfy and all Hotel staff very polite and helpful.

Breakfast was a let down and fell short of the Premier Inn standards. Having stayed in other Premier Inns I have had excellent breakfasts but Falkirk Larbert failed. No Costa coffee and the only coffee was in a packet, the continental was poor and using ASDA smart price yogurts is a disgrace. We did enjoy the hot breakfast though.

The staff at breakfast were not very welcoming or friendly. This is unusual for Premier Inn.

I have contacted Premier Inn with these comments but still no reply from them.

Thank you for your comments. The restaurant next door is not part of the Whitbread group, they do offer a Premier Inn breakfast however and I have passed these comments on to them. If you wish to discuss your visit please contact me direct at site. Thanks Nadine.

We'd booked for 2 nights and arrived late evening to check in. We both noticed a smell of smoke as we walked down the corridor. Our room was a decent size, nice firm bed and clean throughout. I decided to use the free 30 minute wi fi to read me emails, but despite trying on 2 laptops and my mobile gave up as there was no connection being made on any device. Reported this to reception who said they'd investigate.
We received a generic letter under the door later on advising customers not to smoke.

We headed out early next morning and didn't get back until 6.30 the following evening. Bed had been made but the room looked to have been given a very quick once over, floor certainly hadn't been hoovered. Staff on reception were friendly. There wasn't anything to make we want to return here ( this was mainly regarding the adjoining pub though ), which as a Whitbread shareholder isn't what I expect !

Thank you for taking the time to review Premier Inn Falkirk Larbert. I have passed your comments to both my housekeeping and reception team members and the adjoining pub.

I would be happy to discuss both our efforts to police guests who disregard our smoking policy and the servicing of your room in more detail if you wish to contact me direct at the hotel.

Thank you.

It's a Premier Inn, so all the usual comments apply - large clean room, big comfy bed, good bathroom, plenty of hot water. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. Convenient pub next door, free large car park. No problems here, would recommend and stay again
