Visited with 3 octogenarian relatives, staff could not have been more helpful & informative. Rooms clean with very comfy beds . Central location with good transport links. Good food at Outside Inn with fine selection for breakfast and good evening menu.

Lovely, clean, modern rooms. Nice decor. Recently refurbished. Bathroom spotless and fresh. One complaint....not enough storage for longer stays. Friendly staff. Perfect base for visiting relatives and days out.

Great hotel, decor etc looked really fresh and up to date. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This is one of the best Premier Inns I have stayed in. Meal options could have been more varied in the restaurant attached to the hotel.

We stayed at this Premier Inn last night, we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue, the hotel itself is fine, we were pleasantly surprised by the room, and the staff could not have been nicer, but don't have breakfast! The restaurant is one of the worst I have ever visited, from the very strange decor to the horrendous breakfast, which cost a staggering £8.75 each. My advice would be to stay at the hotel but avoid the restaurant like the plague!

I have absolutely no complaints about the hotel itself, the refurb is fantastic and feels like a brand new hotel. Staff were lovely and polite, even when they forgot to put towels in the rooms. Actually the nicest premier inn i've stayed in so far.

The reason for the low rating is because there was a major issue with breakfast. The serving time was between 7-9am which i've never had one so early and when the kids were so busy for two days it was effort to wake them up to go down for breakfast at 8.30. Premier Inn's we've stayed at before are usually between 10-11am finish. First of all there was a lot of people at breakfast and they obviously couldn't cope with the demand. It was after all the easter holidays so they should have been better prepared. There were no plates, no glasses, no hot food left. Jams were gone and juice was gone, no bowls no cutlery on the tables, it was just a shambles. When they put some juice out it was warm. People were complaining from all over, you would have thought they would have been more prepared. Also no one came to our table and asked us to order anything as when I do stay at premier inn I do love the breakfasts they have there and my two girls like a boiled egg as they know they get to have one as a treat when we stay in a hotel. No one came to ask us for tea or for breakfast items to order, no poached eggs, nothing was as advertised. I don't normally leave bad reviews but this was two mornings on the trot so I presume the rest of the week was the same.

Advise not to pay for breakfast there an go elsewhere.

Lovely clean hotel, close to local amenities and motorway network. Very few pubs and shops within walking distance though. Overall a great stay and certainly go the guaranteed good nights sleep. Travelled with our 3 children and had two rooms which were connected with an internal door. The pub/restaurant next door provided fantastic value with adult meals 2 for 1 on most options and a good range of children's meals. Breakfast was good but the choices shown on the Premier Inn menu were not always available. Would definitely stay again.
