We stayed at Cabot Links resort the first night & found the Inn was very close to the golf course. Much more reasonably priced & only a few kilometres from the course for our second night in Inverness. The hosts were lovely as was the inn itself. There was no cost spared in the rooms. Lovely beds, comfortable & linens were new, clean, modern. Bathroom was clean, well equipped. Breakfast was available a bit early due to our tee time, which was much appreciated. The French toast was the best I have ever had. Thanks, Pam! We enjoyed the inn & the hosts. Definitely would recommend!

Room tip: Go for the French toast. It looked as though all the rooms were equally as lovely.

When my husband got soaked in the rain on the Cabot Links Golf Course, Pam dried his wet clothes in the dryer. Alistair took care of his damp golf equipment. As golfers, they also had tips for playing the Cabot course. Lovely people, wonderful, clean, comfortable accommodation!

My husband and grown son went to play golf at Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs and had the great fortune to stay at Macleod Inn. When they returned home, they could not say enough good things about their hosts and how comfortable they felt there. They sat on the porch and had drinks with them and some other guests after a round, and were made to feel right at home. We would stay there on another trip to Cape Breton for sure!!

We were very happy to have spent 2 nights at the
MacLeod Inn.

Our bedroom on the main floor was spotless and comfortable
had an ensuite bathroom. Quite roomy as well.

Pam and Alastair our host's were delightful people to converse with and made nice pancakes the one morning, and scrambled eggs the next, very tasty and with lots of coffee of course.

The property is well maintained and situated close to the town of Inverness.

I would highly recommend staying here if you appreciate
quality and friendly service, and peace and quiet.

Cannot say enough about the care, warmth, hospitality of this B&B. They went out of their way the first night to help us out due to an error in our booking dates...it was our mistake. We had a delicious breakfast the next morning and found our way through the Cabot trail...beautiful views basked in a soft light setting. It was very difficult to leave and really look forward to our next stay with Pamela and Alistair.
P.S. Our room was outstanding
