We stayed here for a business meeting because the hotels in Bologna were booked. I am giving the hotel a good rating because it should not be "punished" for lack business services and amenities - I don't the the hotel's focus is business clientele, and leisure travelers will probably enjoy the environment.
The staff's helpfulness was outstanding. Front desk staff spoke English and were very efficient at check-in and check-out, at helping us arrange taxis and meeting various requests. Rooms were clean and modern. Beds were comfortable, there was adequate closet and drawer space and the bathroom, though small, was clean and bright. I was able to hear my neighbor so the walls are a little thin, but at night the hotel is quiet. Wifi is available in the room but is otherwise spotty throughout the hotel. What is/is not available in the room is odd: no alarm clocks (or anything that tells time), no coffee or hot water pot, no pen or paper, no washcloths, and minimal bathroom supplies (soap, shampoo, a shower cap and a shoe polishing sponge). There was a robe in the bathroom and tiny minibar, but I would have preferred washcloths and coffee!
Ordering room service was interesting - you are supposed to be able to order food from either the bar or restaurant. I tried to order food from the bar and must have spoken with room service 4 different times because none of the dishes I ordered was available. When I defaulted to what the bar was willing to bring me, the food was good and service was quick.
The breakfast buffet offers good quality food - though not much variety: cereal, fruit, bread and some sliced cheeses and meats. We had dinner at the restaurant - the food and service were both very good.
The room where we held our business meeting is not ideal - it would be very difficult to seat more than 30 attendees comfortably, there were limited outlets for computers and as mentioned the wifi service was hit-or-miss. Also, there were flies everywhere in the meeting room and downstairs alcove area.
The hotel's fitness center is located in its spa and does not open until 10am - a problem if you are attending all-day meetings. However, the front desk staff did open for us at 7am. There is only a handful of cardio equipment so I recommend going for a walk/run outside.
Overall this is a pleasant hotel with outstanding staff for casual (not business) travelers.
