We stayed in Daisy Cottage. Getting the key was no problem - it was in an ingenious key safe on the wall. I agree that the breakages price list is not the ideal welcome to the cottage but the sweets were a nice touch.
For a cottage that sleeps 7 we found the 2 two seater sofas a squeeze.
Decor is nice.
Really handy to have access to a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Also really appreciated the dishwasher! However, the kitchen equipment was sparse. No cheese grater! I had to grate the cheese with a potato peeler - not an easy feat! BBQ provided but no BBQ tools.
Games room was brill although more could be made if this excellent feature. Comfy sofas perhaps?
The bathroom is quite small. I imagine chubbier guests would struggle with the loo jammed in between the bath and the towel heater.
We had a lovely break but we wouldn't use these cottages again - mediocre certainly not luxury.
