We visited Callow Hall (no relation unfortunately!) after our fantastic anniversary stay at another hotel in the chain, East Lodge Country House. We wanted to round off our special break with afternoon tea and we certainly weren't disappointed. We were greeted at the door and shown into the lovely sitting room which was very warm and inviting. The afternoon tea was delicious from the delicate sandwiches to the gorgeous homemade scones and as much tea as we could manage. The cakes were so fresh and tasty and were even able to take home what we really couldn't find room for! The hotel is beautifully decorated and has such a relaxing but professional atmosphere, the staff were all very attentive and friendly and the setting is perfect for all manner of special occasions. We will be back as i can't wait to sample more of what Callow Hall has to offer!

We stayed here at the start of January as a stop over between visiting family members, and we're so pleased we did!

The staff were really excellent - the service was faultless. Our room was huge but the decor was rather outdated (!!) although we found it quite charming - the shower however was pretty awful, that really could do with an upgrade, that said we'd definitely stay again.

Dinner was delicious, and again the service was superb - ditto for breakfast.

Just a lovely, homely hotel with super service.

We came to Callow Hall for afternoon tea as part of our anniversary celebrations. On arrival we were met by a very smart and attentive member of staff. The atmosphere was very friendly and the food was nothing short of wonderful. Thank you to all the staff.

We have been coming to this hotel since it was family owned. The new owners have kept the style and furnishings that make it a special place for dining. The food is well presented and served by courteous staff. The coffee lounge is a comfortable end to a delightful experience. We will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary here in November.
