Many people go to Port Hardy because of the ferry connection with Prince Rupert, and the hosts at Orange Tabby deal cheerfully with all the late arrivals and early departures that entails.
As with so many places, it is the hosts who make a B&B, and this is no exception: collections of photos of local bears and other wild-life, and where to see them; the history of Port Hardy; and life style of the fishing community were all part of our breakfast time education. They are great enthusiasts, and such warm people.
The rooms are very good, and the breakfast really great with fresh halibut just part of the offering.
