This is the second closest accommodation to the Ferry Dock. The closest is Bear Cove Cottages. Ecoscape Cabins are very modern, roomy, very quiet (we did not hear anyone arriving off the ferry from Prince Rupert at 10pm), gorgeous verandas, great sunset, kitchenette with fridge, microwave, and all the cooking equipment you need. Some cabins rooms have hammocks. We only stayed one night and it was very pleasant and we would highly recommend it. If you want to be within walking distance to restaurants and the town centre then forget this place. You need to drive to town from here. But we had to get up at 5am to catch the ferry to Prince Rupert so we drove into town, had dinner, drove back, and then had wine on the veranda. Very chilled.

Beautiful spot at the end of the world! Comfortable cabin with view over the pine trees and a few lights of Port Hardy in the background. We came here to go fishing with Jim from castlepointcharters.com. Caught halibut and salmon and brought some back to the cabin to cook. Used both the little electric stove inside and the freely accessible BBQ outside, with kitchen tools and everything. Comfy bed, hugh shower and everything well taken care of by the very friendly couple who built the place with their very own hands.
GO if you're in the area!

I really enjoyed staying here. It was in a lovely location....great view, close to both Storey's Beach and the main town. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. They don't go into your cabin while you are there, so if clean towels every day are important to you, you have to request it. Internet is slow outside the main town of Port Hardy, but you can check FB and send and receive emails with no problem. If you like a rustic location with the comforts of a city hotel room, this is the place for you!

Room Tip: They have a super website. You can see exactly what your room will be like.

A family of 4 with 2 grown up sons, we had two cabins; one a twin bedded cabin and one a double bed. The surroundings are wonderful & very peaceful.
The cabins are well equipped and comfortable. The river pebble floored showers are fantastic.
We realised quickly that there's not many places to eat out at in Port Hardy & shopped out at the local supemarket and self catered. Our large cabin had cooking facilities and all cabins have gas BBQs. Ours had a fire pit & we spent most nights sitting around the fire eating & drinking.
So much wildlife to wonder at nearby, eagles overhead all day & regularly deer came into the grounds.
if it's all mod cons from a big chain hotel you enjoy skip this, but for peace quiet & tranquility its hard to beat.

Great accommodations, especially for a smaller community. Newer and well kept. Wifi was listed on their site as included, but when we arrived the "rules" suggested it was for checking email and simple browsing only (ie. no videos, etc) and was very slow - not a big deal, but you can't depend on it for work or television. There is also in a TV in the cabin - although we didnt use it, so can't comment. We stayed in cabin 1 - which was quiet and included a nice kitchen area. Kitchen included basic cooking utensils, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and toaster oven. Bathroom was three pieces - shower, toilet, sink (no bathtub). Also, it is not their policy to clean cabins / change linens on a daily basis - you need to request it if you want anything done. Again, probably not a big deal to most - just something to be aware of. The cabins were clean - but there was a small ant problem. Bugs don't bother us, but I know some people are put off. Overall a good place to stay - probably one of the best in Port Hardy, just some details that aren't a big deal, but keep it from being "perfect".
