We stayed at the Brentwood Bay about a month ago, and took up 3 rooms for our large party. We're fairly nit-picky New Yorkers and I have to say that we loved the place. The rooms are lovely with a working fireplace, large jacuzzi tub, steam shower and beautiful views of the Bay. Service is very good, although I wouldn't put it in the same class as Four Seasons service (Brentwood seems too small to have the same kind of staff-to-guest ratio as the typically 5-star Four Seasons experience.). There's also a heated pool and hot tub to partake in.
However, the highlight of our trip was really the dining at Brentwood. It's an under-rated restaurant - having a lovely breakfast overlooking the bay is great, but it's the really fresh seafood and sushi that we had at the restaurant (both formal and casual) that made our day. As foodies, we really enjoyed every major seafood dish at Brentwood Bay (including the halibut, the sashimi, the seafood risotto) and we'd come back all the way from NYC just for that.
Wonderful place, try the local wines, look forward to returning!More
