The reviews we'd read on this were kinda mixed so we weren't sure what to expect. We were on our way for lunch at the Brentwood Bay Inn but decided to give it a go instead.
It's a funky little restaurant. Lots of New Orleans knick knacks around the place. Lots of hot sauces on the wall. Obviously these guys have a passion for Bayou and Louisiana culture.
The menu isn't huge but there was plenty to choose from. I had the po'boy, my wife had the cajun clubhouse. Both our sandwiches (hers was a wrap) were fresh and tasty. The portions were large! The accompanying soup (white bean) was delicious and served hot.
The service was friendly and attentive without being annoying. The prices were very reasonable.
All in all I'd definitely go back again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. We'll probably give it another go for dinner next summer when we can go over by boat.
