The food at the Prairie Inn was ok, not the best, nor anywhere near the worst.
The server was chippy and a bit disrespectful of our youngest, who is of legal age and only wanted water. That made the experience less than a great one. The pricing was reasonable. It's not a cottage brewery like it says on the sign, don't go expecting a great micro. In fact, don't go expecting any kind of a selection of the many great micros available in the area, I had the choice of one, and not one that would have been on the top 50 list for me to try while I was in BC.
The time from order to food was a little longer than we are used to, but wasn't a hostage taking either, just don't expect to catch the next ferry.
