First the good points; the hotel has a fantastic location with a terrific view over a lovely valley. The hotel itself is characterful inside and out and is set in attractive grounds. The staff are welcoming and very efficient. Our room was very nice and quite spacious. The food was top notch, we had breakfast each morning and had an evening meal on 2 occasions. There are lovely walks straight out of the hotel, we highly recommend the walk to the Mynde which can be extended the the beautiful Kilpeck church (built 1138 approx) at Kilpeck which has a great pub for lunch etc.
And the bad points well.......I prefer my prunes unstoned.More
