Description: The Weavers Tearooms is part of the New Inn, a medieval hall-house, used as an Inn around the 15th century for travellers. Today Weavers continues the tradition of providing a welcome stop, offering a full range of excellent homemade fare. Breakfasts, morning coffee, lunches and afternoon teas; from sandwiches to salads, cakes to cream teas and of course our famous scones. All made here at the Weavers Tearooms. We are a family business who concentrate mainly on good old English cooking. Food “like what mum used to make”. Our aim is always to prepare food to the highest standards, at the same time offering good value for money. Simple, honest and good tasting food.

Stopped here on the way to the coast for 10 minute break. Cheerful staff, prompt service. Was just going to have coffee, but scones were just being brought out from oven, hot and on the baking tray, so tried those, which were delicious. Lots of butter provided, which is good, so much better than those grim individual foil packets. Choice of jam. People were coming in & ordering sandwiches to make up pack lunches, so it got busy quick. Cost of scone coffee etc? About £4. If this lovely place was in Cambridge it'd be charging more than twice that.

We have been to Weavers several times, and this time took a couple for the first time. It was a lovely sunny day, and were able to sit outside. They never fail to deliver consistently good produce. There is a good selection of both hot and cold food. We all had cheese scones which were really lovely, and even had soft spreadable butter, which is a change from the ice cold blocks you normally get at restaurants, which is totally unspreadable. The interior is clean and well decorated. We were able to watch the Peacocks walking nearby. A classic tearoom operating to a high standard. It is situated on the A1120 and although at times a busy road, still can manage to park close by. Well recommended!.

We stopped off at this quaint little tearoom for a mid afternoon snack and weren't disappointed. Cream teas with a choice of 5 jams, "real" tea and the best chunk of homemade coffee cake I have ever tasted. There is seating inside or outside on the decking under the shade of tress, watching the birds and village life. Perfect.

Made our third or fourth trip to Weaver's today for lunch. Their three course meal is brilliant and excellent value. Our party tried almost everything on the menu between us and everyone was full of praise.

The staff are courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is good and the whole experience is great.
