“Special Place”

These lodges are fantastic, Neil and Jennie have a fantastic eye for detail and are really friendly to boot. I had my honeymoon in Mallard and recently spent our first anniversary there.
The countryside is amazing with lots of exploring to do.
The lodges have everything you can imagine and the hot tub makes it that bit more special and the best place to relax and get away from it all. The Cumbria weather is very unpredictable but it doesn't matter when you are there. Highly recommend.

“A little 5 day get away with kids ”
Reviewed 1 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Absolutely couldn't fault the Log Cabin it was cosy and quiet. When you arrive you are greeted with a cake and cups set out for a tea or coffee. The whole 5 days was the best we have been on and we are certainly going to return but without kids next time beautiful hot tub on veranda and everything you need is there in the cabin. Any problems and Neil the owner is usually around about and will sort it for you straight away. Absolutely can't say no more about it just stay there and find out for yourself wonderful holiday Thanks

“Relaxing stay”
Reviewed 21 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We stayed in the Mallard lodge. Just perfect, few teething problems but swiftly sorted. Two dog and child friendly pubs in walking distance and the tub in this lodge is under cover. Really relaxing break will be back.

“Fabulous!”
Reviewed 19 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Superb family week break staying in Mallard Lodge. Set in its own beautiful surroundings but ideally located to be able to walk/ drive and enjoy what Ravenstonedale, Lake District and Yorkshire have to offer. The welcome and hospitality given by Neil and Jennie makes it a truly special place to stay.

“Heaven ”
Reviewed 20 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We stayed from Wednesday until Friday and arrived late Wednesday night where we were greeted by Neil. Neil was a lovely man and didn't mind that we were an hour or so late for our already late check in.
The lodge was amazing, it was so homely, comfy and well equipped. It could not have been any cleaner, the cleanliness was literally perfect.
The hot tub was gorgeous and the views were equally as gorgeous, we were lucky to have lambs near the hot tub which made for an extra special trip.
On the morning of our departure we bumped into the gentleman who cleans the hot tub after each stay, he was lovely.
The surrounding villages/towns were beautiful although we spent most of our time in the lodge as it was too nice to leave!
Thanks for having us Neil and Jenny, we hope to be back very soon!
Holly and Amelia.

“A perfect weekend!”
Reviewed 17 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

if you are looking for a peaceful getaway then Artlegarth Lodges are perfect for this. Tucked away in a beautiful location, very private with just 3 lodges, we were given a warm welcome by Neil on our arrival to The Curlew Lodge. The lodges are tastefully decorated to an excellent standard and very comfortable with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.Wifi free to use and great connection. We really appreciated the yummy chocolate cake and the fresh flowers were a thoughtful touch. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space which has a hot tub and very comfortable seating area.....so comfy and relaxing! It was a real treat to come back to after a hike up Catbells in the Lakes.I can easily recommend Artlegarth Lodges .....we will be back I hope very soon.
