We couldn't be more excited about The Diamond In The Rough Restaurant coming to The Golf Club at Yarmouthport! We live about 2 miles away from The Diamond Grill and play golf at the course often. We had a few unpleasant visits when it was Ardeos so we hadn't been there for years. We decided to try it after playing golf one day and we have been back there at least 2-3 times a week since.
My wife loves their specialty drink menu & the tavern menu is great if your looking for something lighter to munch on. Their dinner menu offers something for everyone no matter what your budget. The staff is friendly, professional & well trained. We are proud to say we have become "regulars" there! Try it, you'll be quick to become a regular customer as well!

It is a new spot and they do have some kinks to work out, but we were mostly pleased with our meal and our service. It is really between average and very good. We started with the wedge salad, which was tasty and fresh. We had a mix of burger, salmon special (cooked in parchment), swordfish, and veal schnizel. I think the salmon special was the best. Swordfish tasted good but had an odd texture. Burger was good. Nice servers.
They had live entertainment which really isn't necessary and distracts from conversation.
Web site impossible to find but they have one!

Pleasantly surprised by all aspects of our recent lunch. Ambiance was fine -- simple yet elegant decor, open, lots of windows onto green surroundings. Service was exceptional: courteous, helpful and well informed, light hearted yet fully competent. Prices were eminently reasonable.

The quality and quantity of the food left us well satisfied. The Inverted BLT was delicious as well as fun: instead of bread, the ends of the "sandwich" were green tomato slices, battered and deep-fried. The Kings Head Panini was tasteful, a good blend of tastes with ham, turkey and cheese. A vegetable cream soup was likewise flavorful and just the right consistency.

I'd recommend this family-run restaurant without reservation.

My wife and I enjoy Sunday Brunch and we prefer buffets. Quite by accident we happened upon Diamond in the Rough last Sunday. Well the result was quite happy. This restaurant has only recently opened where a not too popular eating establishment had previously been located. It is on a beautiful golf course and the building is contemporary and very nice. The buffet was impressive: lots of fruit and salad, Shrimp & Grits (Chef is from SC), a carving station, an omelet station, and delicious baked goods for desert. Friendly staff and a very competitive price for Cape Cod of under $20. The regular menu looked very ambitious with many interesting entrees. We will have to try those some day.
