A friend and I had an excellent evening at Caesars Bistro , without pre booking. Great service from welcoming , attentive and friendly waitresses Claire and Sophie, Our main meal was rib eye steaks cooked to perfection by the owner and chef Matthew, washed down with quality red wine . Eventually we were the last to leave the Bistro , but we were not rushed away and enjoyed time talking to the staff and owner. Many thanks

“Our best meal out for years!”
Reviewed 23 November 2013

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed another visit to Caesars bistro last night, walking distance from home in Broadstone - we love the relaxed unpretentious atmosphere. The steaks on Friday's rump steak and wine night (good value at £25 for a bottle of house wine and two 10oz steak dinners) were beautifully cooked, served hot, and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient, without ever rushing us. Highly recommended!

“Great Food, Good Service would Highly recommend”
Reviewed 13 November 2013

We dined at caesars bistro recently and were greeted by very professional and friendly staff. The place was very busy and the atmosphere was very warm. For starter we had a sharing platter which was delicious, for main course we had 2 6 oz fillet steaks which was the steak night on offer with a bottle of wine for £35, it came with mushroom, tomato and chunky chips and the steak was cooked to perfection. We then finished with 2 desserts which just topped of a great dining experience. not only was the food cooked to perfection the staff gave great service and were very efficient.

“disappointing service”
Reviewed 10 November 2013

We dined, as a party of 5, for our first yet final time at this bistro. Initially the staff were polite and relatively efficient but this soon turned into a downhill spiral of bad experiences. To begin with, a lot of food offered on the menu was not available. Considering how small the venue was this was a little hard to believe. The most annoying part of the evening was the ridiculous amount of time it took to deliver food to the table. A wait of over 30 minutes for desert and a further 20 for coffee is not acceptable. Furthqermore, I would advise staff not to discuss customers or indeed, staff problems in full earshot of their customers. For example a conversation relating to being paid tips and a member of staff leaving the premises as a consequence should never hqave been discussed. Nor should the fact that the remaining waitress had to do ' the clearing of all the tables.' This is highly unproffesional, indeed amateur as was the entire set up of this establishment. Although food was presented well, the impact was lost in it being overcooked. A medium steak should not arrive at the table overdone and virtually inedible. While I sympathise with the bistro eventually being run bya one member of staff, this had huge repercusions for its customers. No apology added insult to the occassion. If you can't do it properly then please, for your customer's sake, don't do it at all!

“Average food”
Reviewed 5 August 2013

I went to the restaurant with another 4 friends - I wasn't feeling very well so I decided to choose the vegetarian dish which was ok, nothing special. I personally won't be back - It wasn't a terrible experience but the quality of the food isn't great.
