The Hotel Costanera is a good place to stop when driving from Buenos Aires to Southern Argentina or Chile. The area is very isolated but the town has several gas stations and a nice supermarket. The hotel has adequate rooms, a fairly good restaurant and free parking inside the building. There is a nice lady named Kuky at the front desk. It is a short walk to the ocean where there is a model of the ship that Magellan used when he spent the winter here in 1520. Also there is a display of aircraft used in the war with Great Britain during the war over The Islas Malvinas.
