We stayed in the lakeside chalet. Big and comfortable, clean and warm. Plenty to do for the kids. We even went fishing off our balcony. You can fish from your bed if you want to. The Alpine Larder was great for lunch and the Cuisine restaurant was also very good for breakfast and dinner. We went swimming in the heated pool and the sauna really cranked out the heat.

Great location near the ski tube.
So many different room types to chose from & all modern & really well appointed.
We had such a great few days here, restaurants were top quality & it is set in such a gorgeous location. Walks around the lake to brekki each morning.
We stayed last ski season & will be back

Room Tip: Studios were like a large hotel room with lounge Rooms on the other side of lake are a good option. They seem like a long way from the restaurant, however there is a bridge for quick access

Dear emmoges

Thank you for your continued loyalty to Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa!

We are so lucky to be situated right next to the skitube, certainly makes it all very easy with the free resort shuttle to access Perisher throughout the ski season (or Thredbo which is equidistant by car).

Thanks for your great feedback on our two onsite restaurants, it is great to be able to offer our hatted restaurant Cuisine as well as our more casual dining option Alpine Larder and offer choice to our guests.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Resort once again and if you haven't already, please join us on facebook and twitter to keep updated with all of the latest special events and new offerings we are constantly adding to the Resort.

Kind regards

My husband and I visited Lake Crackenback Resort and Spa last week with our daughter for her 10th birthday. We arrived early evening and upon check-in we were greeted at reception by Christopher who was very friendly and informative. We stayed in Currawong Apt 3 which was spacious with a full kitchen and dishwasher and could comfortably accommodate 6. Our apartment was very warm when we walked in. We grabbed some cheese, dip and bickies from the Store and had a walk around the very well kept Resort.

Next morning we enjoyed a delicious combination Al-a-carte/Buffet breakfast at Cuisine Restaurant, enjoying the view over the lake, before heading off the the snow fields of Perisher for the day. We were lucky to get some manmade snow for some snow play and tobogganing. We arrived back to our warm apartment and after a swim in the indoor heated pool enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Alpine Larder. The Pork Belly was amazing as were the Polenta & Parmesan chunky chips and the wood fired pizza. Next morning it was another delicious breakfast at Cuisine before making our way home.

While we didn't stay long enough to enjoy all of the activities on offer we look forward to returning with the rest of our family, either in Winter or Summer, to enjoy the great hospitality and great Resort Activities. We especially look forward to the Segway Adventures and I would love to attend the Day Spa for some pampering. Thank you to the staff who were all very friendly and attentive.

The Resort is so beautiful and spacious set on 150 acres, we have an amazing team of staff who are so passionate about keeping it immaculately groomed, whilst ensuring we preserve the amazing natural environment we are in.

Your very kind comments have been passed on the Christopher at Front Office, thank you, as well as the staff at our two onsite restaurants Cuisine and Alpine Larder.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future and highly recommend the Segway tours and some well deserved pampering in our Spa and Wellness Centre.

I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. As an athlete there is no better place to visit - amazing hospitality, stunning studio apartments, relaxed dining in the Alpine Larder where care is taken to provide wholesome meals, and incredible access to alpine & river trails. I used the resort as my final preparation for the World Orienteering Championships. The staff were devoted to ensuring I was relaxed and ready after my three days. The gymnasium is well equipped, the tracks suitable to run on in any weather, and our studio was a haven during the afternoons.
I can highly recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for the perfect mix of activity, relaxation and a little self-indulgence. Make sure you get a massage or facial from the girls at the Spa. They are truly super!

Room Tip: All of the studios and apartments are stunning. I am sure that you will love whichever one you are given! I particularly like the ones on Bullocks Flat Road.

Dear Hanny A

We loved hearing from you about your recent stay at the Resort - thanks for taking the time to post on Trip Advisor.

We are so pleased your stay met and exceeded your expectations as an athlete preparing for a major event. The resort does cater perfectly for athletes with the ever expanding stunning trail and bike tracks around the resort and through Kosciuszko National Park - we are truly blessed with our surrounds.

We love that you found our restaurants and staff to be so accommodating, we truly care about all of guests needs and requirements and this gives me the opportunity to pass on praise which is always well received so thank you.

Best of luck with the World Orienteering Championships - we will be cheering you on from here!

I attended my best friends wedding at the breath taking Lake Crackenback Resoirt and Spa. It is a weekend in my life that I will never forget! It was a small, Inimate and romantic weekend. We stayed in the Platinum Chalet, it was Immaculately presented, super modern and very homely (and the heated floors are just amazing!), the staff were so attentive and friendly. You can tell the resort is clearly well managed and well groomed! Walking around the resort on the sunday morning gave me a feeling of wanting more, the lake was sparkling and I loved that they provided trampolines for the kids! I will definetly return and tell all my friends. Seriously 10 of 10 and I look forward to returning for another great weekend (still deciding if my return visit will be a romantic weekend or too bring the family - as both would be perfectly suited to this amazing resort).

Room Tip: Try the Platinum chalet - Could easily home 3 couples (plus some kids) - Great Value.
