I stayed here for a business meeting but would happily bring the family for pleasure. This hotel is wonderful - so much nicer than staying in the usual corporate chains. Food is excellent. Staff outstanding - so warm and friendly. Lovely small touches like beautiful bed linen. Highly recommended

Thank you for your review.

We are delighted to know that you enjoyed your stay with us.

The Woburn estate has a lot to offer with its safari park, golf club, the Abbey and gardens. So the perfect location for business and for leisure.

We also offer special packages which include visits to the above venues.

We look forward to welcoming you back at the Inn.

Happy New Year!

My mother-in-law's 80th birthday provided us with the perfect excuse for a family dinner.

Our party of eleven contained people who had travelled from The Netherlands and throughout the UK. We were looking for a 'special' venue and we were not disappointed.

The hotel is a lovely building and we received a warm welcome when we all arrived. Pre-dinner drinks in the bar gave me the opportunity of sampling the real ales (Both excellent). The staff were thoughtful enough to reserve a number of chairs to allow the ladies and older members of the family sit.

Dinner was served in a secluded part of the dining room. Sufficient privacy for a family gathering. The Maitre d' and all of the serving staff were attentive, helpful and charming.

The food was excellent and throughout I could not fault the experience.

If I were the manager of this establishment I would be very happy with the staff, the service and the quality of the food.

Met he a few weeks ago to attended a corporate evening . The room although very nice could do with a "freshening up". The bathroom shower pressure was no more than a dribble - shame really. However the staff, service and food were all excellent. Well worth a visit

For a Christmas celebration, all international colleagues and their partners had been invited for a long weekend early December 2012. We all stayed at The Inn at Woburn (in Woburn, Bedfordshire, UK). apart from the great atmosphere and the perfect quality of the food (both during lunch and diner), the whole staff was very attentive and had a geat customer attention and focus; in all respects.
Absolutely a hotel I would recommend anyone who's visting this nice area (don't forget the local pubs as well as Woburn Abbey and /or the safari park)!

Held my birthday party here in Dec 2012. The Inn was highly professional throughout - events management, reception desk, food and drink. Everybody who went commented on the good choice of venue. Thoroughly recommended.

A very pleasant couple of hours spent being served afternoon tea to celebrate a 75th birthday. Lovely surroundings with attentive staff. A traditional feel in a beautiful village. We didn't stay overnight as we live close by.

Thank you for your review following your recent visit for afternoon tea. We are pleased to hear that you did enjoy your visit to Woburn and the Inn.

The tradition of taking Afternoon Tea is said to have been started by Duchess Anna Maria, wife of the 7th Duke of Bedford at Woburn Abbey during the 1840s and today we are proud to be carrying on this custom and still deliver a pleasant afternoon tea experience.

Looking forward to welcoming you back soon at the Inn.

On arrival we were greeted with a welcoming smile and an efficient and helpful service from the receptionist. After booking in, we ordered soft drinks and a very pleasant helpful and efficient young man served us. However, on coming down to breakfast the following morning, there was no greeting other than ' room number ', no eye contact or smiles from the breakfast staff on duty, - they were not unpleasant - just glum and indifferent. While some staff at the Inn are welcoming, tentative and pleasant, there are those who are not and appear not to want to be there and at times we were treated in an off-handed manner. The buffet breakfast was very good with Continental, traditional full English, fresh fruit, cereals, breads, jams and juices.

We stayed for two nights in an executive room which was spotlessly clean, warm, quite spacious, well furnished, had a large comfy bed. television and came with the usual complimentary tea/coffee/toiletries etc although some of the paintwork was scratched off on doors and door frames.
The lounge area at the front of the Inn appears tired and some of the furniture is worn or scratched and could do with freshening up.

We attended a wedding which was held at the Inn and we had a wonderful day. The dining room was beautifully decorated and the tables were well laid out. The food was excellent. The staff involved, first rate.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Inn.

Just to recap -
Excellent front of house receptionists.
Some staff definitely need to attend a Customer Service Course.
If you are thinking of holding a wedding at the Inn they do help to make it a really special day. Fantastic food. Great breakfast.
Executive room quite spacious and comfortable cost at £160.00 per night at wedding rates (this included an extra z-bed for a third adult +breakfast).

Room Tip: Executive Rooms are quiet spacious. space for an extra bed if needed Room 215 was quiet and met our...

Thank you for your recent review.

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our facilities and most of our service delivery.

Your comment regarding customer care, following your experience at breakfast, has been noted. Formal training sessions in customer care have taken place this year, we are continuing our program for 2013 to ensure the Inn is a place where a genuine welcome is given to all our guests.

I sincerely hope that you will re-visit us in the near future and hopefully experience even higher service and hospitality.

Yours sincerely,
