It's worth every of the many pounds you pay. The drive through the land filled with wild animals is memorable (allow at least 1 hour and a half). At the end of the drive there is a large car park with cafés and the animal encounter on foot, kind of a farm but interesting.

“Great visit with young child”
Reviewed 24 August 2014 via mobile

We visited woburn safari park on 23.8.14- lovely day- booked tickets online to save. £1 each for adult tickets- pricey I must say - and our son was free as are all under 3's. The weather was s good- however the time we were there some of the animals were just lying dwn and not loving - which is I guess what they most likely do in the wild - but having paid money to see a 'safari' did expect to see more of some animals. Nonetheless- a great day out/experience- seeing the tiger, black bears, lions, giraffes were lovely and did make me laugh where they rambled across the path of the cars creating a 'giraffe crossing' instead of a 'zebra crossing' :)
The foot safari after the road safari is worth a shout- a place to have a rest and picnic lunch before going on the free train or swan boats to add to the whole experience. Do take your children they will love it.

“Lovely day out, beware the monkeys!”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

A day out with the children at Woburn is defiantly worth it.
The park is mostly drive through and drive past, Rhino, Elephant etc.
It was marvelous to see Black Bears up close. The kids loved the Lion drive, seeing real Lions in such a lovely big open area for them.
Driving through the monkey area was an episode. Unwittingly the night before we had parked under a cherry tree, lovely red ripe cherries in the wiper bay. We were swarmed with every monkey in the park, clattering all over the car fighting over cherries on the windscreen. My little girl laughed so much at a monkey's bum squished up on the windshield.
I didn't laugh so much replacing both wiper blades and the aerial snapped off by naughty monkeys.
Other cars had formed a que to stop and laugh at us!
The restaurant is good and the usual gift shop of course.
Quite a bit to do outside the car, viewing other types of animals.
The bird avery is spectacular, buy a small pot of nectar and hold it out, you will soon be covered in birds drinking from your hand.
Woburn is not as big as Longleat or West Midlands safari parks and not quite as many attractions but then it is half the price as the others.

“was a bit disapionted”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

when we arrived had to wait in a queue of cars to pay we chose the £31.99 price you get free book free water tickets for park also sea lion show plus meal thought that was a good price for it all until we went for the food we had to queue up for about an hour for our meal when we got it was not happy with the food one bit very dry tasted not very nice at also the drinks wasn't very nice either we had, the other disappointment was the queuing of the cars around the safari bumper to bumper and was queuing in that for ages too when it was hot in the car other wise the other things was lovely in the park apart from no one told us at the gates we had to check in for the sea lion show we nearly couldn't get in even though we had paid for it but lucky enough we moaned and got in ok they should have it more organized there, the girl was very helpful to us with the monkeys you walk round told us a lot about them was very interesting even though the kids was on the grass and they shouldn't have been parents should keep eye on them all the time in parks like this, saw the elephants coming back from there swim was lovely too.

“Good Fun day out and Wifi !”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Read comments re queues , we must of timed this right , no queues for us . Drive round the park was leisurely and lots of time to spot all the animals .Lots of rangers on hand so felt very secure .
Then we as of to the walk around art again very enjoyable . Did not think it was good that we had to pay xtra to see the Sea Lions show. This should be included in the park fee .Some areas of the park were a bit dated , but on the whole a good day .Would go back at a later date .
