Been a few times and thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere every time. Went with my parents twice and they absolutely loved it, my father loves his food and he wouldn't stop raving about it, hence we went twice and they were only here to visit for less than a week. My favourite dish would have to be the Smoked Haddock and Bacon Chowder, absolutely delicious, would definitely recommend!

Lively, quirky restaurant in the heart of Clifton Village.

We ordered bread and olives to start, which were fresh and tasted lovely, but 5 minutes later, our mains arrived, so it was a bit of a waste of money!

The fish and chip portions are gigantic, crispy batter, lovely chunky chips. Can't fault it, except the meal felt slightly rushed for a lazy friday evening. A delay between our appetisers and mains would have given this gem an 'excellent'

I have just tried to book a table for nine stating that it was for my fathers 80th and that we needed a table downstairs as he cannot get up the stairs. Despite availability they chose to refuse the booking stating that all tables over six in size have to be upstairs – recession? What recession? This is a restaurant where the tables are not fixed – utter madness.

I've eaten here on several occasions over the past few years with various friends and family and we have always really enjoyed the experience. The food and wine is always top quality and the service friendly and professional. Portion sizes are sensible and I like the varying menu. A definite favourite.
