For £18 a person you don’t get all that much to drink.
The tour starts on an industrial estate which made us a little wary, there wasn’t much of an atmosphere in the area.
The walk isn’t very long in between venues which is a plus but the selection on offer - after the first place - is a little lacking.
We didn’t even visit the last venue as it looked a bit of a hole with a cheesy disco underway.
Would not book this again nor particularly recommend it.

I am really sorry that you didn't enjoy yourself.
This is my first review of less that four stars and I'll be honest, is a little surprising.
Nearly all breweries are based in industrial estates. Moor is where I drink on a weekly basis and I find the staff and atmosphere makes it a lovely place to hang out, with a huge selection of great beers to choose from. The four venues all have unique personalities and styles. In two of them you would had been served by the business owners themselves.
The last pub, The Elmer's Arms does have live music on Friday & Saturday nights, and occasionally a Thursday. These are vinyl DJ's or live bands. The beer selection in there is fabulous, with ten lines (eight of which are local) and therefore the pub is extremely popular with craft beer drinkers. Elmer himself is one of the loveliest men you'll ever meet, so it's a real shame you didn't venture in.
You do pay a few pounds more than it would cost to buy the beers yourself and I am very sorry if you feel that means bad value after the maps, factsheets, beer tokens have been lovingly put together by me. The venues are tiny, independent venues stocking locally produced beers and therefore the beer is not necessarily the cheapest you find.
I am therefore also very sorry you didn't feel that it was good value.

Had a wonderful few hours completing the Bristol Hoppers Beer Tour. It was great to explore the area as well as sample the local ales. The tour was easy to follow and navigate. Plenty of detail with maps included. We took our time and completed the tour in a comfortable 4 hours. Such a wonderful activity to take part in. I’d highly recommend it.

A group of us took this tour in the midst of storm Dennis and still found it highly enjoyable. All the pubs visited had their own unique atmosphere and all had exceptionally friendly staff. If you enjoy good beer and pubs that are not part of a large chain this is a must do if you are in Bristol.

My son and I took this tour for his 23rd birthday. We enjoyed seeing new parts of Bristol and finding the independent pubs. It was like an adult treasure hunt with beer as the prizes! Friendly bar staff and lots of drinks options, A very enjoyable afternoon. We made our own score card up to rate the ales so we didn’t forget which were our favourites! Recommend taking a pen if you want to do this and reading glasses if you have eyesight like mine as the print directions are quite small!

Hi Debbie,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

You are the second person to mention pen & paper so I am going to take that on board and from next month include them in the envelopes.

Thank you!
