Description: Located in the heart of Quakers Friars at Cabot Circus, Raymond Blanc's Brasserie Blanc brings to Bristol quality, elegantly executed French cooking with friendly service in a relaxed environment. In addition to the main restaurant, our Bristol brasserie has two beautiful banqueting halls, Cutlers and Bakers, dating back to the 13th Century and latterly used as a Quaker Meeting House which can be booked for a wide variety of functions. On arrival you will be greeted by our friendly, knowledgeable team and the lively ambience is complemented by a menu inspired by the simple, hearty dishes of M. Blanc's childhood. Alongside an appetising a la carte menu and carefully selected wine list we offer an excellent value set menu and on Sundays we serve a classic roast with all the trimmings. Younger diners can choose from a special children's menu or order a half sized portion of many of the a la carte dishes on offer.

Had lunch this pm with some friends. The service and quality of food very poor.little gem lettuce served with smoked haddock fish cake must have been left in water for hours before serving, bread served as starter with poached and veg was like a rock not experienced that one before, is this a new trend? Overall very disappointing experience

Visited for lunch with some friends. Lovely building but felt atmosphere was lacking as were seated upstairs pretty much all on our own. The food was nice but was not blown away as expected. Staff were great.

Popped in during a shopping trip. Ordered blue cheese and fig tart ( a vegetarian option) and when it arrived it resembled a ham pizza, queried it with the waitress who brushed me of with " that's how the French serve it" and walked away. Hubbie by this point had his food going cold so told him to carry on. Managed to flag down the chap who took the order who realised his mistake & rushed of to get correct item but not before we asked him for a spoon so hubbie could eat his cassoulet. No spoon arrived so had to ask again when my correct order arrived! Apart from apologise nothing was offered to make up for these mistakes. Food was admittedly delicious but seemed a great effort to get right and eating in relay is not my idea of an enjoyable lunch.

Location of this Blanc outlet is in a wonderful former Quaker Meeting House later used as a registry office. Original features have been retained giving a magnificent ambience.

Friendly and helpful local staff made this an enjoyable experience. Food was better than any Blanc I had been to in London. A cut above the rest.

You expect great food from a Raymond Blanc restaurant and was very excited to try the food.
Miguel was a great waiter and the only waiter that smiled, the manager looked moody as did the rest of the staff.
The starters were basic and easily done , my girlfriend asked for the Chickpeas which were cold and easy it was like someone had poured them out of a tin ad the Poached eggs with summer vegetables were just basic and simple nothing cuisine about them at all.
We than received the Pork with vegetables which yet again over done and the sauce was watery.
Had a good time any way as the company I was with was great but I am afraid for my first experience in a Raymond Blanc restaurant I was really disappointed.
