This is a great hotel, clean, modern and central. Take advantage of valet parking, I never but should have. Park at front door and valet will take care of it. Nice area outside by the canal to sit and have a drink

Room Tip: Business Room are best.

I have never stayed at a cleaner, more modern looking hotel. The view is great over the harbour, and with prices like that there aren't going to be any drunks waking you up at 2am.

However the mood of my stay was rather ruined by the hotel's booking system. The computer on the reception said I'd booked 1 night, however I booked for, and paid for 2 nights. The computer in the back with all the receipts on it confirmed this on the 2nd day of my stay.

On my final day I test my key card in my door and it didn't work. I went down to the main reception, where there were different staff to the 2 days before. The stubbornness and refusal to help and check by the staff was insulting.

Room Tip: Rooms facing south or westerly have a far better view over the harbour, as opposed to the city on th...

Excellent position right in the middle of the city centre bear the harbour side bars. Our room which they upgraded us to business for free (thank you very much) was lovely and spacious and the aircon was very welcome. Quiet and efficient in this hot weather we are having right now.

Staff are helpful, efficient and friendly and we opted for the valet service which is excellent as it's only £3 more than the NCP charges although that is located two mins literally down the same road.

Breakfast was average to be honest and didn't offer the option of freshly cooked eggs such as poached or fries (although the usual dried out fried ones were under lights as you'd expect!)

The only downside I would say is the lifts (elavators) of which there are only two. For a hotel that has 17 floors this is insufficient and so there were long waits and many stops before reaching the floor you needed.

There are no ice machines on any of the floors which is a bit of an inconvenience although we were informed room service would provide it (but you'd get the usual 20 minute minimum wait for that!)

Overall we would highly recommend this hotel as it is modern, central (with fab views) friendly, clean and to the standards you expect from Radiison Blu branded hotels. Thank you for a lovely stay. Greatly appreciated.

Hotel is located close to station and city centre overlooking Bristol Harbour, the view from the top floor rooms is amazing (I was on 15th floor) probably we can whole Bristol. \lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. Hotel staff is good.
I felt its quite costly I paid GBP 170 per night and breakfast is quite ordinary. Another negative point is lifts are too slow with only two lifts sometimes you need to wait for 8 to 10 mins specially in morning hours.

Thank you for your review of the hotel. We look at our prices daily and set ourselves very competively with other hotels in the city but thank you for highlighting it as a concern.

best regards

We met friends here recently purely for a short business meeting so this review does not cover accommodation. However, this hotel is in an excellent central location, and the public areas are very modern, immaculately clean and smartly presented. Ample, comfortable seating, and accommodating staff, though there was a lack of 'warmth' I felt. This is entirely a personal preference and no reflection on efficiency of service, which was very good. Three of our team ordered coffees, which came in generously large mugs, and I had tea which was excellently presented in a 'stay-hot' individual teapot. We were able to enjoy privacy to talk, and the atmosphere was congenial and unhurried. As has been mentioned parking in Bristol is expensive but plentiful. We requested to have the background music lowered in volume, and they were very happy to accede to our wishes which was appreciated. The Radisson Blu is ideally placed for exploring the quayside bars and restaurants at the floating harbour and a short stroll from plentiful shopping and attractions.

Nice hotel, great location and comfortable large rooms. On business so rate seemed OK. Breakfast was superb with excellent choice. Lifts a bit random and slow to work at all times of the day - but enjoyed using the stairs instead ! Would recommend for anyone wanting to be in the midst of the town center close to harbour.

Thank you for the review. I would say we purposely have inconsistent lifts for the betterment of the health of our guest, encouraging them to use the stairs, but that would be a bit of a fib. Sorry they were not as fluid as they should be
Thank you for letting us know
