Stayed at this Hotel after reading great reviews on TripAdvisor. Hotel is easy to find, and easy to park in the multi storey car park a 2 minute walk away. Had the superior king room for 3 days and only paid for 2, a great offer. Was also excellent value for money.

Hotel room clean and quite modern, bed fantastic, really big and really comfy, same as the pillows. Great shower, never wanted to get out, and every other facility you could really want. An ipod connection would have made it a complete package, but cant really complain.

Only down side about the Hotel location is that it is quite a walk from the main strip of pubs in Harbourside, and the main 'night life' area of town.

Cabot Circus is a great shopping centre under a fantastic covered roof, and joins the remaining outdoor sections of Bristols shopping centre.

Didnt eat at the Hotel, but did eat in the resturants in Cabot Circus, generally very good.

Room Tip: Go with a superior room, only a little more money and added space etc.

Excellent service and value for money. I have stayed here a few times now. Unfortunately, last time I stayed I damaged my shirt on the hotel iron - which had some melted plastic on it. The hotel did everything they could to rectify their mistake and I would have no hesitation at staying here again.

Very easy check in on arrival and departure, the staff could be a little more friendly but everything done as expected. The room was brilliant, never seen a bed so big!! loved the air con kept the room cool whilst out all day, the room 502 was in a very quiet location no inside or outside noise and over looked the car park. The location of the hotel was very good 15 mins walk to Temple Meads Railway Station, just across the road to the shopping centre. its about a 20 min walk to the habour side where you can catch water taxi's, make sure to visit SS Great Britain! The free parking was great and the 3 for 2 offer. Only niggle was the shower curtain was abit shabby a screen would have been better, and single light switches instead of just one for the various lights in the room would be alot better. We found the best place to park in the Cabot car park was on the 4th floor Zone B, then take the lift to the ground floor go out of the shop mobility exit walk round the corner and straight into the hotel reception, no need to cross the bridge or any busy road with your luggage. Had a brilliant time and will stay again very soon!!

Room Tip: any credit card will work in the key swipe for the electric, so you dont have to sit in the dark if one person needs to leave the room.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 weeks. Not a bad thing to say about it.

Bed are massive and I slept like a baby. Nice bathrooms and little lounge areas, and friendly helpful staff.

The Good: Washer and Dryer, rooms to accommodate 4 people, 1 free water bottle in room, location is right across from Cabot Circus.

The Not so Good: Wi-fi not available in the rooms. Lights controlled by one key and they don't like to give a second key.

We had 2 adults for our family of four so we asked for a second key, which was given very hesitantly. You can read the other reviews about the light controlling issue. We stayed in 6 different hotels in France and England on this trip and 4 of them had the key system that controls the lights. We were on the first floor so you can actually get a trickle of wi-fi in your room. Otherwise, you have to hang out in the lobby to use your own wireless device. They do have 2 computers available downstairs in the lobby, so you can also use that.

If you're arriving from the direction of the train station, have the taxi drop you off across the street at the Mall to save some fare. Otherwise, you'll pass the hotel and have to make a u-turn.

The rooms are not fancy, simple but clean. For travelers needing hair conditioner, pack your own. Iron in room was broken, but we were able to get another.

Front desk staff a bit spotty. We asked for directions to a restaurant. Person looked it up but gave us the absolute wrong address and wrong directions. We ended up stopping at the Holiday Inn Express in town and got the right directions.

Maybe some of the front desk staff are just young students. Elsewhere in 2 different restaurants in town, we had some very poor service experiences too. This is a University town.

Anyway, conveniently located for what we needed. Access to mall across street, ATM and small food store was good. Breakfast was a bit high at 9 pounds per adult, but if you have younger children they're free so that worked out well and it was a full English breakfast so you get your proteins. Don't have anything to compare it to in Bristol, but if I had to come back to the town, I'd be willing to stay here again.
