"Pirate walks" is one of the few guided walks available in the winter which is a pity as there must be lots of other areas/things to see in Bristol. A 90 minute stroll covering only about half a mile around the docks but worth every penny and what an informative guide we had. It wasn't Pete the Pirate leading it but his deputy was excellent with a potted history of the slave trade, pirates, press ganga and even a bit of Banksy.
£7.50 is perhaps a bit expensive compared with London Walks but you do get an orange or blackcurrent drink included when you stop at a pub with a hidden secret!! It's a level walk but mostly on cobbles so wear comfortable shoes.
