Description: At The Cowshed we bring the taste of the countryside to the city. For us the most important thing is knowing where and how food is produced. We focus on the quality of the farming or production methods and the ethics and integrity of the grocer, breeder or supplier.

Great steak, wonderful sides (try the garlic mushrooms). The location is awesome. Just go here already.

thankfully we booked the earlybird menu so only had to pay £10 each plus £1 each for tap water from a fancy bottle not impressed as the waitress offered water but did not inform us we would have to pay for it !

I had the steak which well quite frankly i have had a better meal at the Harvesters. Yes the steak was nice but it was just plonked on the wooden board with a side order of 'chips' these were potato wedges and there were about 6. glad i did not have to pay the full price ! A nice side salad or onion rings to accompany the meal would have been nice.

My boyfriend had the burger and the same thing just a burger and few potato wedges. far too pricey and the amount of food served for the price was rubbish !
i will not be coming back.

My husband and I paid a visit for his birthday on Saturday, restaurant was packed and people were being turned away so glad we booked. Menu was varied, pleased with both starter and main. Quite pricey but worth it for special occasion, only niggle was delay between courses but other than that GREAT!

Having had poor a meal the night before at the Celtic Manor we cancelled Sunday lunch there and went to The Cowshed Bristol. Soo glad we did. although I'm of an age that I think you should still be able to get a Sunday roast for a fiver this meal at 15.50 is a joy.The freshness and flavours are perfect it is still a Sunday roast but.......

We have just come back from an evening meal at the Cowshed.
We were in a party of 5 on a Birthday night out.
This was our 1st visit to the Cowshed, but it certainly won’t be our last.
All of us wanted to try it as it had been recommended by fellow work colleagues.
The staff were very friendly and the service was great, the steaks were cooked to perfection.
Though the restaurant was busy it had a lovely relaxing atmosphere.
It certainly is not a cheap place to eat but it is worth experiencing.
