Me and 2 girls booked there for a night out, £99 all together so bargain we thought! Wasn't expecting much, just somewhere to put out head down.

5* from the moment you walk in, right on the harbourside so perfect location. Marble floors, spotless. Decorated to the highest standard, rooms - immaculate, spacious, massive beds! Plasma TV's, lush views.

Would highly recommend to anyone! Family's, couples, friends.

I chose the hotel because it was an easy water-side walk to the SS Great Britain on which my sister-in-law celebrated her eightieth birthday at a lunch party for about thirty people.
My wife and I spent two nights in the hotel. We were impressed with the excellent quality of the food and drink in the restaurant and the bar, and we were impressed with the excellent standards and courtesy of the staff. The lounge provided a pleasant meeting place for various members of the families, and we used the facilities of the bar extensively. On one occasion six of us dined in the restaurant.
My daughter and her son from Belgium also stayed in the hotel, so the occasion provided a relaxed time for conversation.
The two nights we spent in the hotel were particularly warm, and we would have liked to sleep with the windows open but the noise from the merry-makers on the water-side below made this impossible. However, the double-glazed windows successfully shut out the noise and the air-conditioner in the bedroom kept the temperature at a comfortable level.
The shower outlet was overhead, and this was a slight problem as my wife's hair styling needed protection. In the absence of a shower-cap, my wife improvised with her toilet-bag.
Overall, the hotel helped to make the weekend a memorable and enjoyable experience for my wife and myself, and about twenty other people from the birthday lunch party.
Thank you.

Room Tip: The water-side may be noisy when the windows are open but the view of the activities offsets this...

My wife and I stayed at hte Bristol Hotel, part of the Doyle Collection, and it was the best experience we have ever had. The 3 members of the reception were slick to say the elast and although I had a problem, caused by me and not the hotel, they assisted me past any reasonable expectation or indeed duty. The room we had was superbly prepared and the service from all areas was first class. Thank you Bristol Hotel for the most enjoyable stay and customer service. We will certainley stay at the Bristol anytime we return.

Room Tip: Ask for a riverside room, the tranquility in a city is superb

My Girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at The Bristol hotel. We went for no other reason than to explore the fab city of Bristol and we found the hotel to be a real gem! On arrival we went straight into the attached car park where we found a space immediately. Once packed our ticket was validated and we were told we could come and go as much as we liked.
After a very swift check in we entered our room and found it to be very impressive. We had opted for one of the hotels packages that entitled us to a room upgrade and it did not disappoint. There was far more to the room than we needed but it was a real luxury.
We came and went from the hotel always being greeted with kindness and courtesy from the staff. We also had breakfast the next day and it was wonderful. Along with a incredible spread our meal was accompanied by the playing of a piano.

All in all we loved our stay the hotel was beautiful inside and nothing was too much bother for the staff. We will defiantly be back.

Really excellent location, there is so much new development in Bristol, and lots happening. The Bristol hotel is the ideal hotel to stay at so you can feel the great Buzz of Bristol.
Great that the parking is free over the weekend, even if you check out early the following day the hotel still allows you to leave your car in the car park.
Staff are all so welcoming and friendly, front of house, staff at breakfast and even the lovely ladies that clean and look after the rooms.

Room Tip: Room with a view. Is noisy if you leave the window open but there is air-con.
