    Excellent Hotel

    Stayed for a night late December to have a days shopping and a fantastic night out before the Christmas panic at home. Parking is ideal and free!!! right next to hotel and under cover. Shops just a ten minute walk away and the Christmas markets are excellent. Back in the hotel we had a 3 course set meal for under £25 and it was amazing, restaurant setting was cozy and classy and the staff were very nice and polite. The bar was also very good with free cocktails when booking with secret escapes!!!
    All in all a ' stress free' night away that was very memorable and we will definitely return again soon. Don't be put off by the exterior of the front of the hotel, looks like a hospital!! but inside is superb.

    Room Tip: Go for deluxe, very nice bathrooms, comfortable beds and great nespresso maker.

    Small but perfectly formed...

    Excellent location but what stands out is the customer service. Lovely staff - friendly but professional. Building very functional from outside but very nicely refurbished. Little details such as high quality amenities added to our enjoyment, plus parking right next door.

    Thank you for the review "small but perfectly formed....." we really appreciate your positive comments, although with 187 guest bedrooms and a ballroom which can cater for up to 400 guests I am not sure we are that small!!

    Great

    When we arrived the staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. thank you tracy. The hotel was so nice we stayed an extra night. The breakfast was great too. The only thing that was a problem was there isn't enough drawers to put underwear in.

    Best hotel in Bristol

    The hotel is in a perfect location. On the dockside with lovely views. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are extremely stylish and classy. There was a special offer on breakfast for £8 but even at the full £12 it is great value. Will definitely stay here again!

    Small but perfectly formed rooms

    Typically bland modern hotel with smaller-than-average rooms. However the location right on the harbourside gives this place its character so try to get a room overlooking the (sometimes noisy) waterfront for great views. Our bathroom had hardly enough room to swing a towel but was beautifully designed and the walk-in shower was excellent. Breakfast in the waterside restaurant was also an enjoyable experience despite the one-size-fits-nobody piped crooning even a few days after xmas!
