A great hotel for business & pleasure. Staff are happy to help with any questions, food is of a high quality, rooms are clean & well maintained and location is excellent. I have previously used conferencing facilities, and these were also of a high standard and we were well looked after.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Great stay. Staff very attentive and polite, could not do enough for us. We ate in the restaurant and the food was to die for, also nice to sit and watch the world go by from the nice view from the restaurant. The room was clean and well decorated. We were on the 3rd floor, only thing I would say is don't pay extra for a harbour view as it is not worth it as trees are below you so you don't get the benefit of the view. Free parking next to the hotel was a bonus. Would visit again

Bristol docks area seemed a good place for a couple of days away with the weather being somewhat indifferent and so it was that we ended up choosing the hotel for its position and style being a little more upmarket than the other choices. Surrounded by many bars and restaurants with their accompanying tourist attractions and close to the town it is ideal.

Most has been said of the hotel and the complimentary comments seem a fair reflection, the rooms are a little commercial and maybe lacking some comfort and decoration and it is true that the bathrooms are a little restricting in their size but that is all.

The staff do go that extra distance for you in every way and as such one could do no less then recommend this hotel both for business and pleasure, should we visit again it will definitely be here.

We stayed for just one night for a two-day trip to Bristol. I had wondered whether to spend this much (plenty of cheaper options after all) - £109 - but it was worth it. Don't be put off by the not-so-nice exterior; it's smart (and clean) inside. As were staying the day after a busy weekend, there had been lots of check-outs, and without asking we got an upgrade, which was ace. On two other occasions members of staff went a little bit further than they needed to e.g. by subtly checking whether we knew our ay around (we didn't, and benefitted from their explanation with a map). The breakfast was great - lots to choose from, and attentive service. The location was ideal for walking to different parts of the city. Recommended.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the 'harbour' for an interesting view

exactly what I wanted when booking a break for me and my partner. Free parking right next door, the staff were on point with mannerisms, the hotel itself was beautiful, the bedroom décor was amazing and the breakfast in the morning had a great range of cooked and cold foods. The dining area has a lovely view of the canal and the bars and town centre are a walk just around the corner!!

We were in Bristol for the Emmy Lou Harris concert at the Colston Hall and wanted somewhere within easy reach. As this hotel was described as only a five minute walk away it was a perfect location. In reality it was even better as it is indeed within a five minute walk but is also in the old harbour alongside the marina with many bars and restaurants. The SS Great Britain is a fifteen minute walk away.
We had a large very well appointed modern room with king size bed which was extremely comfortable, also a choice of pillows which all hotels should offer. A good bed can be ruined with poor pillows whereas a mediocre bed can often be acceptable with good pillows. Tea and coffee facilities were provided as was WiFi and a large screen TV,bathrobes and slippers. Our only minor criticism was that the bathroom was quite small but adequate for a one night stay.
We took advantage of the early night theatre supper which at £15 for two courses was good value.
My partner S was well looked after with her gluten free requirements both at dinner and breakfast, the latter being excellent with a full choice from the buffet of just about anything one could ask for.
Parking at the NCP car park next door was complimentary and very convenient.
We were told on arrival that a bottle of sparkling wine and berries was part of our package and as this did not arrive up in our room through an oversight we had it with dinner.
To sum up, a very nice hotel, friendly staff and a first class choice if you intend visiting Bristol.

Very comfortable night's stay at this well-located hotel in central Bristol. We were given an up-graded room which was clean and well-provisioned although my Nespresso machine did not want to work in the morning! I made up for it at breakfast, however, which was very good with plenty of choice. It was very helpful to be able to use some of the plentiful reception space for a business meeting on the Monday morning, enabled by the sensible midday checkout deadline. Aside from breakfast, we did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on the overall standard of that facility. Staff were very courteous and helpful at all times and I would heartily recommend this hotel for business or pleasure if you want to stay somewhere in the middle of Bristol.
