Wifi should be free. We have stayed in many a simple guesthouse where it is and this is a large factor in our choice. We hate 'hidden extras'.
Our room had no drawers to put clothes in at all; it is nice to unpack and not have to 'live out of the suitcase'.
There was no loo brush, no fridge,
The orange juice was so bad at breakfast that we thaught it was off, so mentioned this. This was duly investigated, and some activity happened, like the waitress tasted it and agreed, then her supervisor got involved and someone came and topped it up with new juice! It continued tasting as bad and we realised this is what it was supposed to taste like. It reminded me of the powdered orange juice we used to have for camping holidays as a child, but we were assured it was 'fresh orange juice' Maybe guests in such a high class hotel are used to drinking better quality stuff at home.More
