Had a great stay in the Doubletree. The room was modern, clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and professional. The only complaint i have is the breakfast was excellent on the weekend, but disappointing in the week, and was expensive during the week. I hope to return as a pleasant stay.

Dear Guest

Thank you very much indeed for your 5 star review. We really appreciate it.
Great to read that everything in your room was to your satisfaction and that you found the staff friendly.
I am sorry that there was an issue with our breakfast. We should be offering exactly the same standard at the same price at all times. I have asked our Restaurant Manager to ensure that this is always the case.
Hope you'll come and visit us again soon.

As with most city centre Hilton's it's basically a Travelodge+! Room was very comfy, with the obligatory big flat screen TV. Wasn't the quietest of nights and the outside noise is very evident.

Breakfast was good, a nice choice of hot and cold buffet style. Evening meals were also pretty good, albeit a bit pricey. The restaurant is set in a kiln and has quite a nice atmosphere to it. Bar was ok, very expensive and with a lack of natural light is devoid of any atmosphere whatsoever and with the only ale hidden away in bottles in the fridge!

Meeting facilities were ok, again, no natural light in the room we were in, so everyone stumbled out at the end of the day after being battered by the a/c!

All in all, fairly good, but probably wouldn't be high on my list of places to stay in Bristol if I had the choice...

Dear Guest.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. It was pleasing to read that you felt your breakfast was 'good' with a nice choice of hot and cold buffet items.

I was also pleased that you liked the atmosphere that our Kiln Restaurant has to offer, the Kiln Restaurant is the sole survivor of more than a dozen conical glassworks which once stood in what was one of the West Country’s busiest industrial areas. This fascinating relic of Bristol’s industrial past was then converted into the Kiln Restaurant

We do hope you will come and stay with us again, you can always find our best guaranteed rates and offers on our website and in addition you can earn points in our world renowned Hilton HHonors loyalty program.

Stayed here for a single night, recently, and on short notice. Having experienced this hotel when it was the Ramada, I expected little in the way of comfort. I had chosen the hotel because of its' easy access by road, its' proximity to Temple Meads, and the on-site-car-parking, which at £7.50 for an overnight stay, was cheaper than the vast majority of car parks to be found in Bristol.

I arrived relatively late in the day and was greeted at the front desk by a chap named Leon. He couldn't have been more helpful - and as soon as he realised I was a Hilton Honours member, but hadn't mentioned this on the reservation, I was given an Honours Room on the 5th Floor, which although intended for a differently-abled-guest, was absolutely huge with a wonderful view of the Church next to the hotel, standing out against the sunset. The welcome cookies and complimentary bottles of water in the room were a welcome treat after a long day of travelling.

The room was spotlessly clean, and not wanting to venture out that evening, I ordered the Chicken Curry and a Fruit Salad from the 24 hour room service menu, which at £21.50, I thought reasonably good value - though no service or tray charge was added to the bill.

Check-out was as efficient a process as checking-in, and they were kind enough to validate the car parking ticket to allow me to attend a meeting nearby, and leave the car in place until I was ready to leave, which saved me an additional parking charge. Super service, and highly recommended!

Room Tip: High Floors have pretty scenic views

This hotel ticks all the boxes. Courteous staff, comfortable/clean rooms, large breakfast selection and a good location to the town centre and train station. Will return again on our next visit to Bristol.

very good service, nice and clean rooms, big and varied breakfast, but a bit expensive for those who dont have it included in the room price. thin walls so you hear conversations easily in the neighbour room. short walk to train station and very good is that the airport bus stops right outside the hotel

Dear Guest.

Thank you for the 4* review you have recently given the hotel. It was pleasing to read that your room was 'nice and clean' and that there was a large selection of breakfast items on the buffet. I agree with you that the hotel has a good location in Bristol as it is only a very short walk to Bristol Temple Meads Train Station and as you said the 'Airport Express' bus stop is directly outside the hotel, which is very handy for guests travelling to or from Bristol Airport.

We do hope you will visit us again soon, you can always find our best guaranteed rates and offers on our website and in addition you can earn points in our world renowned Hilton HHonors loyalty program.
