This restaurant needs to buck up its ideas on service...
Arrived at lunch time, place was quiet...we waited for a few minutes by the 'wait here to be served' board - nobody came to us....staff walked past us, but didn't acknowledge we were there...
Decided to walk to a table - waited for a few minutes for somebody to take our order...nobody came....
Went and got our own menus to look at....still nobody came over....
What do you have to do to get served in here ???

So left and went to Frankie and Bennie's and had a great meal, superb service, well worth the tip...

Won't be going to Bella Italia again....

The restaurant has both an indoor seating area and an 'outdoor' area, which is still within Cabot Circus but outside of the restaurant on a sort of faux patio. I've sat in both areas, and the service was probably better inside as we weren't hidden away somewhere on the patio.
The menu is both extensive and affordable and the staff were knowledgeable about the items on the menu and what they included.
Overall, a decent place to eat.

It was a busy lunchtime but the meal and drinks arrived promptly. The staff were pleasant, no raised eyebrows for sharing bottle between the two of us. The portion size was good as was the meal itself, plenty of meat with the tasty pasta. I have eaten at a Bella before and was disappointed but the chain has redeemed itself thanks to this experience.

Never been to a bella Italia before but love Italian food and as we had a voucher from vouchercodes.co.uk my friend and i thought we would try it. Lovely romantic, clean looking restaurant. Under staffed but the were pleasant enough. The did explain they had run out of several things, a lot of restaurants tend to run out of things now, whether it's to keep costs down or they have genuinely been that busy, I'm not sure. I had the perpperoni pizza which was average and skimpy on the pepperoni. My friend with a gluten intolerance fancied pizza too but another thing they ran out if was gluten free pizza bases! So she opted for a salad with a side of chips. The salad came with croutons even though it said gluten free so she just pushed them to the side but she enjoyed the salad. Overall an average experience. Would try again with a voucher code but try the pasta as there's better chain restaurants to have pizza in.
