This was a highlight of our weekend away to Bristol. The attention to detail is superb and we both thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the ss Great Britain.

The weather was miserable but the advantage of coming here is that you get to enjoy plenty undercover - apart from top deck of course!

Tickets are valid for a year, so we hope to return in the summer.

We visited here on a cold wet January day and found it to be a fantastic day out. After going for a boat trip along the river and seeing the SS Great Britain in all its glory, it was fascinating to go inside and see the amazing restoration and scene creation that’s been put into the ship. The history is fascinating and the information points are interesting for all ages and very informative. This easily made for the best family day out that we’ve had in a long time.

The event aside, which was wonderfully organised, this attraction is great! The dockyard experiences and the on board museum are great for all ages. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about this exhibit. It really is great for all ages and a wonderful opportunity to step back in time. A ‘must do’ if you visit Bristol. Will definitely go back! Highly recommend this attraction.
