Mercure Bristol Brigstow Hotel

Certificate of Excellence

I stayed here following a university open day at Bristol, seeing as it was my partners birthday coming up I decided to treat him! This hotel is absolutely beautiful! it is very cheap for what you get and is well worth the money; the rooms are lovely and spacious and they are decorated to an excellent standard. It is a very modern hotel and is situated in a beautiful place with views of the river.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to any one wishing to visit Bristol, no matter how old you are, there is certainly something nearby that you will enjoy!
The breakfast is great and there is plenty of choice; you can also help yourself to as much food or drink you wish!

Stayed here for my birthday with the other half. Upgraded to the superior room for an extra £5 or so, but was definitely worth it. Room was spacious and extremely well decorated. The bed was really comfy and the pillows were very plump! Really felt like I should have paid a lot more for my stay as it was so plush!! The staff were friendly on reception and check in was very quick. There is a NCP car park next to the hotel, in which patrons can receive a 25% on the parking charges.
All in all really happy with my stay, would definitely use this hotel again and would recommended it to anyone.

had a bit of trouble on check in, i dont think the receptionist spoke very good english. i booked the room with late rooms in early dec, had email confirmation from late rooms, the email stated that late rooms do not take a payment but use a credit card for reservation of the room. when we checked in we were told there was no reservation in our name. the receptionist said that we must be staying in the other mercure hotel in bristol. it turned out that the hotel had tried taking payment from my account and as the card declined they tried to email me and call me. i checked my emails and rechecked again and i had no emails or telephone calls from them. its a bit confusing being told by late rooms by email that we would pay when we check out of hotel then the hotel actually taking the payment out. overall this is a great location reasonably priced and i would stay again. shower was a bit pants tho!!

A really nice, clean, friendly hotel. A little nicer than the normal chain room and very well priced too. Stayed for a short city break and it's fabulously located for all amenitietes and close to city centre. Had a very nice, homely feel to it. Would definately stay again and recommend to a friends.

Breakfast also good. Would definitely stay again.
