Have just returned from a two night stay at the mercure, booked a privilege room to enjoy a few little extras. Room was nicely decorated and clean although perhaps a little smaller than I anticipated but large enough to accommodate us comfortably, coffee machine was a nice touch although we only had 2 decaff capsules and 2 normal capsules and these weren't replenished at all during our stay although we used them the first day. Booked dinner and breakfast as part of our stay, the menu was small but had plenty of options and the food was lovely, the French waiters were polite, courteous and friendly and really enhanced our dining experience, the stern lady at breakfast could take a few tips from them!
We used this hotel as a base to explore bristol and take a trip to the theatre, it's location along the riverbank was perfect, central but peaceful.
All in all an enjoyable stay at a nice hotel, would use it again.
