Stayed for one night, Saturday 15 March, booked 2 rooms a few hours before arriving for myself and my son. We'd had two dreadful nights in the Premier Inn Emerson Green. The Mecure proved to be great value for money, very comfortable and quiet. I'd asked for river view rooms (if possible) and was pleased to get them. Extra touches like the fridge in the room and the tv tile in the bathroom were appreciated as well as a more than ample supply of large white towels, good toiletries and efficient heating. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location for exploring. Thank you.

Room Tip: Ask for a River View if possible, quite lovely.

Just a one night stay (Friday).
As Bristol is always extremely expensive (overpriced) and, for some reason, has few hotels with vacancies, I consider this hotel to be a 'find'. The queen room given was spacious and had everything I needed.

I can imagine the reason for the reasonable price paid to be down to the view from the room window. The hotel faces the river Avon and some room views must be really pleasant. Mine was a car park plus surrounding offices! Was this a problem to me? Of course not; but I expect some fussy people would not like it.

Staff were helpful and quick to serve, maybe a little pushy

I would certainly stay again.

Room Tip: If you are awkward enough to care about the view, ask for a room at the front of the hotel!

I stayed here on business in November and had a pleasant stay. The room was large (partly due, I think to be placed in an accessible room) and well presented as too was the bathroom. The bathroom featured a mini tv placed within one of the tiles which was a novelty but the picture was poor.

The hotel is centrally located within reach of a number of restaurants. I chose to eat out of the hotel on the evening but the breakfast was very tasty with a nice choice on offer. I would certainly stay here again if I were to return to the city.

Room Tip: The rooms located at the back of the hotel seem quieter.

Perfect location being close to all facilities of the city. Very relaxing room with view over the river. Breakfast is very good value for money, with good choice of food, and comfortable dining room. Staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. We have stayed here several times already and plan to book again in the future.

Went to stay for the night and got there from Bristol Temple Meads, it is some distance away from the train station but within walking distance from the city centre.

Room is big and perfect, the bed is really comfy but the shower was a bit small, didn't stay long but the staff were really helpful!

The only downside was the view, the room I got faced some kind of office with the security guard kept looking across and the room was pretty hot and sticky during the night

Room Tip: Make sure the air con is working!
