Reviewed 20 December 2013

This is a basic hotel but it was clean, quiet and comfortable, and easy walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. We were able to park on site although spaces are very limited. I'd stay here again.

Having never stayed in this chain before I was impressed from the check-in by a lovely young lady until departure.Rooms were soundproof, spotless with excellent bedding. The hotel is 2 minutes from the bus station. I am encouraged by this experience to try a few more hotels in the chain.
The experience in the Beefeaters restaurant was average only and won't use this experience to detract from the accommodation.

I had a 1 night stay here and was very impressed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was spotless and no noise despite being a city center hotel. I checked out at 3 am, and found, even at that hour, the reception staff to be super friendly/

We are always wary booking a city center hotel as to what sort of sleep we will get. No worries here. On booking in we were told that we had been alloocated a room on the 16th floor but as we were obviously not party animals were given a room on the 1st. Bliss, no noise.

stayed in this premier inn lots of times, always clean and staff very friendly.. its great for a few days shopping as just over road from primark and just a short walk to rest of shops... you do need to get there early in the day if u want to insure parking there...and they are working on it at the moment so a lot of it is fenced off just back from a weekend there and got to car park, and it said it was full, we got them to open the gate by saying we wanted to drop off our cases, we just found a parking space so when we got to desk, we used machine to check ourslves in and booked parking too... nobody even questioned us lol was £16 for 2 days..... 6,12,13 tracy

Hi Tracy,

Thank you for taking the time to write your comments on your stay.

I'm very pleased to read you found a car park space.

Our car park is unavailable until the end of January as we're having the car park newly surfaced.

Have a Merry Christmas

Stayed for the first time in this hotel and have used Premier Inns regularly for both business and pleasure. The hotel is perfectly placed for both Bristol docks (15 min walk) and shopping (2 min walk)
Bus service from Temple Meads station excellent, no 8 & 9 both stop outside cost £1.50. Only downside to getting to hotel is the Bearpit which is an underpass you cross to get to the hotel. Not nice in day time but to be avoided at night. Some shady characters lurk! There is an alternative way but you have to cross a busy road.
The hotel was as usual very clean and the staff helpful but my only complaint was the size of the room. It was probably the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in and I don't think Lenny Henry would have fitted in!

Hi Stuart,

Thank you for writing your comment's on your stay.

Being in the centre of Bristol does have it's advantages with being near everything.
There are ways around the underpass rather than go through it. On your next stay, please speak with one of the reception team and they can direct you.

Merry Christmas.
