“It was OKAY”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night as I had a couple of appointments in Bristol on the Monday & Tuesday, I phoned the hotel to see if we could check in a little early. I was told "yes, that's fine Sir" We arrived at the hotel at 12 & was told we had to wait until 2pm as "that's check in time". After a small complaint to the right person we checked in at 12:45!!!
The room was a typical Premier Inn room. Clean, tidy & comfortable. Happy dayz at last.
We went to the Beefeater next door for our evening meal which was very pleasant, good quality & value.
Breakfast was a different matter though!!! It's served in the Beefeater Restaurant, buffet style. To say it was chaotic is an understatement!!!The young lady who was bringing the food to the serving area wasn't the friendliest, the food was coming out far too slowly & most of the serving dishes/plates were empty too often & too long. I ordered Porridge, I waited 20 minutes!!!

Room clean and tidy quite small for a family of four but sufficient for just sleeping. Be warned our room was very warm, the windows are non-openable and the ventilation system while operational and noisy did little to alter the temperature.

Stayed there over a weekend for a stag party. There were other hen and stag parties but we still managed to sleep very well as rooms were quiet. The hotel was in the perfect location the staff were extremely helpful and very polite. Rooms were very clean. All facilities were good too. Would highly recommend and will definitely be using if I'm ever in Bristol again.

I had an early flight to catch from Bristol Airport so decided to stay here the night before and it turned out to be even more well located than I'd expected. Within 5 minutes of leaving the hotel I was on the Flyer bus to the airport. The rooms are comfy, quiet & spacious, and, as the building is so tall, it has great views of the surrounding area, and I was greeted by a very cheerful and helpful staff, a rarity these days. Also super easy to grab dinner - there are multiple restaurants adjacent/within the hotel itself. I opted for Beefeater, but just underneath there's an awesome looking chilli bar that is pretty cheap, and a busy Chinese. At under £50 for a double booked in advance, you can't go wrong.

Stayed for one night with fiance and 3 year old. We'd asked for a quiet room prior to arriving and were in a designated quiet zone, didn't hear a peep out of anyone all night which was brilliant! After a previous bad experience at a different Bristol hotel (not a Premier Inn) it was a massive relief to come to a hotel with proper quiet areas. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of it and freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The only downside was the bed was a bit hard for me but that's personal taste.

We've stayed here before and have no problems on our previous stay, this time however my only complaint is that the room was very hot,the weather was exceptionally hot this particular weekend, even so I don't think the air con was working properly, this won't prevent us from staying again as the location is very good and the staff courteous and friendly.
