This review is rather late. I stayed at 38 Clifton for 2 days last August. I wanted to be based in the lovely Clifton area of the city, with its pleasant walk into town, but also just a short walk from the suspension bridge and Clifton village itself.
The B&B is situated in a stylish and comfortable period house over-looking Clifton Downs to the front, and with panoramic views down over the city at the rear. The public areas are comfortable and relaxed, and the bedroom also very comfortable ( great views). Breakfast was full service if wanted but also with a quality continental style spread.
The walk into town down Whiteladies Road takes about 15 minutes. A great road, full of shops and restaurants - all very walkable from the accommodation.
38 Clifton was perfect for my needs, and I would definitely stay there again.More
