Our daughter is a student living in Bristol. She lives in Redlands/Whiteladies area so decided to stay in Clifton (near her) rather than central Bristol. Hotel was brilliant. Very central. She walked to us and then we set off on a marathon walk. Went to Clifton Suspension Bridge , Clifton Village (lovely) Had a mulled wine at the Avon Gorge Hotel, then ended up at the German market, then dinner. Got back to hotel around 8.30pm. Their bar scene (basement so no noise) was great fun.
Hotel clean, staff very helpful. They have their own basement carpark 30 seconds away(£6.50 a night) but would recommend it, as parking in any part of Bristol not easy! We left the car there for the whole duration. Hotel room small, as was bathroom, but perfectly formed and got biscuits, coffee and fruit in room. Only small criticism, the bathroom facilities were a bit limited. Just hand soap and a dispenser in shower (body wash and hair shampoo combined. ) Would have been nice to have shampoo and conditioner separate. Small point though.... Would strongly recommend the hotel.
