I didn't even know that Bristol had a cathedral before I arrived in the city. I've visited many and thought I'd seen all of the notable ones, but this one was very special. Architecturally it's a mix of medieval and Victorian gothic, and each part works- looking at the building from the outside, particularly, you can see the transition, but it works.
A beautiful building, and unlike many cathedrals they don't try to scalp you for a ridiculous entrance fee before they let you look around.
