“Great trip and really cheap!!!”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

This was a great boat trip, lasting around 45 minutes, and only £5.75 per adult!! The chap giving the commentary made it both informative and entertaining and we thoroughy enjoyed it. The boat gets very full, so a tip is to get there fairly early for the scheduled time to make sure you get a seat!

“Relaxing and informative boat trip”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

An inexpensive way to see the floating harbour in Bristol. A concise and interesting commentary is given of the history of the area as well as of some of the ships which came to rest here among which Brunel's SS Great Britain. There are 2 hop on and off stops. We hopped off to visit the SS Great Britain (takes about 3 - 4 hours to visit) and returned to the quayside by boat.

Good photo opportunity - new and old buildings.

Senior concession is available and there is one toilet on board. A small bar on board. Not suitable for wheel chairs. My thanks to the young skipper who helped me on and off the boat.

“Ship-Shape and Bristol fashion”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

Having arrived at the harbour in an impromptu visit to Bristol, we decided that we might as well jump in a boat and see the floating harbour, learn about the history of Bristol, docks and its maritime history.

We arrived just a few minutes the tour was due to depart, its a young but knowledgeable guy sailing the boat which does include going through a low bridge which just about is managed by the vessel.

There are two departure/pick up points and we used the wharf next to the SS Great Britain. We were shielded by the elements as it started to rain just before the tour finished and it was an enjoyable 45 minute trip.

“Lovely spring day”
Reviewed 13 April 2014 via mobile

Sunny day in early spring spent a really pleasant 45 minutes on the harbour tour. Nice way way to get your bearings from the water and the commentary from somebody proud of Bristol gave a glimpse of the history of the city.
