“I am biased.”
Reviewed 13 June 2014 via mobile

I am a Bristolian who knows how much attractions can cost and this place has very personal memories for me. Now the place. Free to go up. Views are amazing. Located on Brandon Hill which can be an oasis of peace in the middle of the city. Easy walks. Great restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Kids can feed the squirrels all year around. It is one place I take all friends visiting Bristol.

“Great views”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

Situated in the lovely Brandon Park/Hill, you get great 360degree views over Bristol. There are ALOT of stairs which are quite narrow, so if you have issues with stairs or heights then maybe not for you!

“An oasis of haven within a stones throw from the city...”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

The views from here are spectacular and the vast hilly (at the lower levels fairly gentle in slope) lands are very well maintained. Perfect for picnics. Plenty of pay and display parking spaces available.

“Great View Across Bristol”
Reviewed 10 May 2014

An unexpected parkland haven, a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of Park Street (just off City Centre) Cabot Tower (named after John Cabot) is in a public, hilly parkland in Brandon Hill. There are two viewing platforms presenting magnificent views across Bristol, Harbour and beyond.
Surrounded by parkland and nature reserve, squirrels are very tame and will eat from your hand. Its a great spot for picnics and dog walking, but there is a dog free park for children too. Would recommend a visit if you are in Bristol as its central and there are a number of routes leading to it . We visited in good weather which was enjoyable but very busy trying to get passed people on the spiral staircase, (it is a bit of a climb so less than fit and very young children would struggle).

“fantastic views”

Were just going to cut through the park at Brandon Hill, early evening, found tower still open, climbed to top, took photos. Lovely stone work and carvings, plus great planting in the park
