“Highly recommended”
Reviewed 24 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We stayed 2 nights at Pembroke Court, and would definitely recommend to others looking for a wonderfully spacious, well equipped apartment within easy walking distance of the city centre. Everything we needed for a great break. Thank you Robert.

“Disappointed”

My teenage daughter and I arrived Bank holiday Monday to loud Eminem music blaring out from the balcony upstairs and two young ladies in their underwear gyrating to the same. We left within 15 minutes and sent a message to Robert advising him of the same.
Response was very swift and extremely apologetic and the following day, email received asking for bank details as he would like to refund what Trip Advisor had paid him.
9 June sent a message via TripAdvisor as no payment received, 14 June reply received saying he was overseas and would sort on return and apologies for having to prompt him, further message sent 29 June and to date - 29 July - no response and no monies.
I did not expect the offer of a refund, but am extremely disappointed at being strung along.

How easy was it to book the property? How helpful were the directions to the property?
How easy was key pickup/access to the property?

“Great Base”
Reviewed 16 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

I didn't know this part of Bristol but it was a great base. Instructions to get in etc good. Owner responded quickly to a difficulty with the internet. It is a modern flat however and the soundproofing is dreadful so you can hear the loos flushing in other flats and people walking above. Other things such as the cooker - not that we used it - are a bit tired but if you just want somewhere to call home for a couple of days, this is your baby.

The soundproofing is absolutely fine and standard for modern apartments. This is a spacious modern apartment in a small and usually quiet complex. There are quality fittings throughout and the apartment is always spotlessly clean. The cooker comprises a stainless steel hob and oven. We are about to replace the stainless steel hob with a ceramic hob which presentationally is far superior. We have many regular guests, either professional people often working in Bristol or holiday makers who keep returning.

“Comfortable but noisy”
Reviewed 2 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Warm flat with all amenities. Good directions from owner regarding checking in & finding the property. Responded quickly to any query.
However our stay was affected by noisy neighbours - above & across the landing - there appears little soundproofing. Also building work on the adjacent flats contributed a lot of noise during the day. I accept that these are outwith the owners control but they do detract from an otherwise excellent apartment.

I am sorry to hear about this. The apartment block as a rule is quiet and people are normally very considerate. There is a development occuring not far away where offices are being converted into apartments which seems to be the name of the game in the centre of Bristol. Again I am sorry to hear that there was outside noise as they were finalising the project

“Excellent choice....”
Reviewed 24 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

I worked in Bristol nearly 30 years ago and loved the place so I thought I'd re-visit and see if it was still as I remembered it. I spent some time researching properties to let. It needed to be close to the city centre and have TV, wi-fi, cooking utensils etc and be roomy. I picked the right place. Pembroke Court is at the heart of a lively city scene and the apartment is excellent in every respect In addition Robert, at the letting company, could not have been more helpful in arranging everything and solving one or two problems which occurred at the last minute (problems not caused by him!).

“An oasis right in the centre of Bristol”
Reviewed 8 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

This apartment is really near Cabot Circus ideal for a shopping trip but really quiet too. Really lovely bars round the corner too. There were plenty of cleaning provisions and dishwasher tablets supplied. The only thing which stopped it being a 5 star was the bath was chipping abit, I was worried I would damage it further. Robert was really on it and friendly. Really happy with this rental and would use it again if I came to Bristol.

“Just what we needed :)”

Booked Robert's flat so we could visit friends in nearby Montpelier and it was perfect for what we needed.

Managed to find it easy enough and get parked. Instructions were clear how to access the flat.

Flat itself was huge and really tidy. Ideal base for us to wonder around and get to Stokes Croft (which was a feast for the eyes on a Saturday night!).

Bed was really comfortable and when we both woke up late on departure day, Robert was really understanding.

Only little niggle was the rust on the bath panel in the bathroom but that is me being really fickle because I'm a bit OCD.

We have agreed when we next visit to Bristol, we'll definitely be staying here.
