Lovely views and sun in the summer. Never enough staff at the bar, you have to wait ages for drinks, even longer for food which isn't particularly good for the price. Waited 45 minutes for a BLT baguette which they forgot.

Despite the fact this pub is basically a pretentious equivalent of a Lloyd's bar but in a monied area as customers who clearly had no where near as much interest in exhibiting the elaborate trappings of wealth as the other clientele we received the poorest service possible. The hour long wait (that's long enough to watch a Coronation Street special) for food was almost understandable as it was very busy, but no where near at full capacity. However you'd think with that wait the food would of all been served at the same time. As it was the waiter brought all but one meal before turning about heal with more speed and skill than a ballet dancer and skulking off without waiting to find out if that was it or if we needed anything else. Time passed with no sign of the last meal coming so we complained to a very belligerent chap who said he'd look into and returned 10 minutes later with an incorrectly prepared meal that was frankly barely worth eating. The value for money ratio for this is establishment should be based on your 90 minute wait for a terrible burger. You'd think the process of cutting a patty and melting on some blue cheese was as a complex engineering ordeal as Brunell suffered trying to erect the bridge that sits a mere stones throw from the worst pub in Bristol.

A little expensive, however, a great atmosphere and really buzzing when the sun is out on the huge terrace - although it can get crowded. View to the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Leigh Woods, Gorge and below the River Avon, and other directions have elegant dwellings and a great vista across the City.

Amazing location on a sunny day with beautiful views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the Avon Gorge...but the service I received was terrible and everything was overpriced. Bar staff were rude and unhelpful. Waited over an hour for food to arrive and when it did I was disappointed. For £13, I received a pot of mayonnaise, a pot of BBQ sauce, 5 cremated but cold chicken wings, a side salad and some undercooked, still cold in the middle potato wedges

If you want a quick (expensive) drink with a brilliant view, then it's brilliant. For anything else, go elsewhere.

One of the best views in bristol to enjoy a few drinks. Cannot rate the food much but the sandwiches are good - if a little expensive. Definitely worth spending a few hours there in the summer!
