Situated only a few hundred metres from the Temple meads station there are a few good pubs and restaurants nearby and the Temple business area. Good stop off for business men. Nothing 'Wow' about the hotel but nothing too awful either.

Room Tip: Its a little noisy at the front but would only disturb the light sleeper

situated near enough to the city centre to walk but in a quiet location. Lovely big room.Could have done with another chair to allow you to watch the tv without being on the bed. Dined in the restaurant first night because of travelling. Reasonable hotel prices but beautifully cooked and presented food. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, there is a tesco express near by. All staff were helpful. Bathroom clean with nice toiletries. had a nice surprise on checking out as we thought we would have to pay for parking but it seemed to be included.

Hotel is situated 500 m from main train station, about 10 minutes walk from the old city.

Nice rooms, unfortunately covered with carpet. Good gym and little sauna coming with it.

Wifi is very expensive, they offer a lower rate on "braodband". Internet was sometimes very slow, it took some patience to get along. Access to the gym only with a 6 digit code to be keyed in at the door, a complicated way. Sauna only open untiel 10 pm. Access to internet only via TV, everything seems to be unnecessarily complicated.

Executive room is pretty much a basic hotel room (but did have a bathrobe, a definite plus). Stayed for one night, so no complaints: clean, functional etc. No wifi, which was a minus. When picking a room, try to get on the courtyard side. I was woken up a few times by traffic.

Novotel Bristol Centre is well located in the centre of Bristol and has a car park but the building itself is really quite dull and unattractive. Check in was passable. The staff aren't local, don't speak the best English and therefore come across as rather aloof but they did the job. Our Executive room was just about ok. The bed was comfortable but the whole room could have done with a deep clean. The corners were dusty, there were extension cables that needed tidying and the paint work need a refresh. The bathroom was okay but again needed a proper deep clean, especially the basin. The towel rail was practically falling off the wall and the towels themselves were thread bare. We eat out and only had a quick drink in the rather soul less bar but breakfast was passable. It's not the most attractively decorated dining room and the art work in particular needs to be sorted. I might stay here again if there were no other options but there are better and cleaner hotels in Bristol that I would go for first.

Stayed there for a couple of days when visiting Bristol for a friend's wedding. Excellent room, very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom, with all the amenities and services you may need available. Friendly and helpful staff. As a bonus, they put us in an executive room even though we had booked and paid for a standard one. Very convenient location, close to the station, although admittedly not the nicest or the most happening part of the city. 15 min walk of 5 min taxi to nicer and more lively parts, so that's not a big issue.
