The hotel is easy to find and parking was no problem.
I had a lovely room and there some nice touches including free wifi and a free PC and printer in reception.
The let downs were the bar prices; i don't even pay those prices in London and the restaurant where half of the dishes seemed to be off.
I'd stay here again but I'd just eat and drink elsewhere.

Room not as described.
Second room not much better.

Pls actually present the rooms that people have booked, much easier.

After the event, friends recommended elsewhere, ah well next time eh.... Hindsight

Thank you for your review. Can I assure all our guests that we aim for all our room descriptions on our own website to be 100% accurate, but I would be pleased to receive direct feedback if this is not the case, so that I can deal with it constructively. Tim Howes, General Manager

We stayed here for one night during the hot air balloon fiesta. Booked two rooms well in advance. The hotel is located right in the heart of Bristol and is great for exploring the city.
The hotel itself is very well maintained and the rooms were nice and tidy with all regular things one would expect from a good hotel including a mini bar, electronic safe, etc.
Although we didn't have much time to use all the facilities in the hotel, it had a lot to offer with computer terminals and XBOX consoles for children in the large and spacious reception area.
The breakfast was also very good and had large variety, althought the staff were a little busy and it took some time to order hot drinks. But they were extremely polite and accommodated special needs. The parking was underground beneath the hotel.
They also had some goodies for our 3 year old upon arrival which certainly made her happy.
It isn't the cheapest hotel around but for us it was money well spent.
I wouldn't think twice to recommend it.

We did have a nice stay here but compared to the Hilton Garden just around the corner it didn't compare. Firstly all the lights in our room going out was a little strange as everything else was ok and they did sort it out promptly but I have not had this happen in a hotel before. Also no free WiFi in the rooms as compared to other hotels. Breakfast very expensive so we didn't. Great location for city centre and train station.

Stayed one night last weekend at this hotel and it was absolutely great - clean room comfortable - some of the furnishings seem a little bit dated and tired but lets be honest how long do you spend in your room. The breakfast was very tasty and good coffee. Receptionist staff helpful - easy access to the lovely river walk and Gromit trail.

We were in Bristol for two days (one night) and needed a city centre hotel to use as a base. We found the parking convenient (if a little expensive - but comparable to anywhere in Bristol) and the staff were welcoming and attentive, offering an upgrade when we arrived.

Everything was spotlessly clean and although the bathroom was not the most spacious the bed was comfortable and all the usual facilities were provided including free Wi-Fi. We had an evening meal and it was excellent with good service and reasonably priced.

I will be coming to Bristol quite regularly from now on and will certainly consider staying here again. I would also recommend it to friends and family.
